A NOTE FROM THE HELLERS:

In the twenty years since the first of our seventeen books was published, we have been blessed with the most passionate, enthusiastic, and loyal readers in this world!

Most importantly, they have been the most supportive as well; willing to share their experiences with others.

In the past, we had focused our energies on offering support to the ten thousand members of our CASupport group. Six hours a day of answering questions kept us pretty busy but the joyfilled reports of success and thanks we received and were more than worth it!

In time, as the demand for information became greater than we could ever hope to supply, when thousands of readers each day were being told that our support group was filled to capacity, independent support groups, blogs, and chat rooms sprang up.

Some offered excellent support and advice; others were less dependable. In almost all cases, however, these groups were started and maintained by readers who appeared to be truly dedicated to our programs and who had a great desire to share their success.

Today, over a million groups, blogs, chatrooms, and other social media offer support to carbohydrate addicts!

Over 300,000 men and women visit our Hellers' Books websites each year. Most are seeking additional information on our books and our programs. Many are hoping to find the support and encouragement that online groups, blogs, and social networks can provide.

While we sincerely want to offer all of the help we can, the sheer number of requests to which we would need to respond, does not make that possible. In the same way, the seemingly limitless number of social network venues for discussing our books and our programs makes it impossible for us to offer recommendations regarding the "best" support group, blog, message board, etc.

Below, you will find a listing of just a few of these many groups that office advice and support to our readers.

Please, do NOT take the fact that we have included a group in the list as indicative of our approval of that group or the advice they might offer. In many cases, we may have little or NO first hand knowledge of the group, its leaders and members, or its practices.

We offer this list merely as an EXAMPLE of the many opportunities that exist online for readers to learn, share, give and get in their quest for a better, healthier, and happier life.

As always, we urge you to be guided by the specifics we have offered in our books, by your own good common sense, and, FIRST AND FOREMOST, by your physician's recommendations.
